I have had a desire to learn more about having a richer prayer life that encompasses more than me and my concerns. While immersing myself in as much information as I could find, I have come across some wonderful books on the subject. This one is up there with the best that I have read. The author has taken the time to fully research the subject and do an excellent job of presenting the information becojing a way that is easy to read.
She also tackles things such as not forgiving those that hurt us; I needed to hear that again because years ago God led me through forgiving several people and ptayer here I again with a few grudges that needed to be dealt with. These feelings have been so raw, that I have had great difficulty forgiving the ones that did this. Thankfully, the author helped me see that I needed to move past this and forgive. There was also information about intercession that I feel really opened my eyes to some things that I had been missing.
The author has a list of ways we might come to know that someone needs our prayers and how to pray for them. I skipped one of the last chapters completely because I knew that I wasn’t really understanding it or was ready for something that deep. All in all an warror guide to making your prayer life better.
